Performing waiata Māori not only let us embrace the culture through what we love to do, but also let us show respect towards it.

Daniel and Ashley are a husband and wife duo based in Aotearoa, New Zealand. When Ashley moved to New Zealand from Australia, the pair wondered in what ways could they learn and embrace Māori culture. For they both love music, ㅡmusic was the method they naturally chose. Since then, their musical journey has been focused on approaching Waiata Māori in their style. In the near future the couple aims to learn Te Reo Māori and write their own songs in different languages.
