As two solo artists who have normally worked alone, we’ve come together and discovered the power of collaboration 🙏🔥
Brought together by the joy of songwriting, singer-songwriter Mia (Ms. Mia) and music producer Clarissa (Something They Call Myth, TEAM152) started collaborating through the New Music Development Fund programme by NZ on Air to create new music. They started performing together as a duo this year, exploring the sonic foundations of their songs by playing in a live setting, with vocal harmonies layered upon the stripped-back accompaniment of Clarissa’s acoustic guitar and Mia’s piano. As a bonus, performing as a duo has also taken the fright out of the stage for Clarissa and Mia.
